What an amazing no frills campground. It's a little off the beaten path but so worth it. What a great welcome; they greeted us in a golf cart, took us to our site and told us to settle up when we were ready. Satellite and the air card worked great. There is no real cable. We would stay here again if in the area. For the price this is an amazing find.

Their hospitality deserves a 10. We are much younger than the 55+ policy yet they extended us a one night stay. They couldn't accommodate our 40' rig with the tow behind it so they gave us back to back sites so we did not have to unhook. Make sure you call for directions you GPS will get you lost. Look for the Maverick gas station and the Golden Valley Medical Plaza. The CG seems to mostly full timers however it was clean, decently leveled and fairly quiet. However, my Verizon air card did not work but my cell phone did. No cable.

How disappointing our arrival here was. The office made us feel like we were bothering them. The camp grounds are beautiful with lots of trees and wild life: too bad the front office doesn't make you feel welcome. Those beautiful trees make maneuvering a big-rig quite tense. The sites were not level at all. The cable was ok and the air card worked well. It was quiet at night and Mazzio's pizza/restaurant delivers to the site. We probably would NOT stay here again.

They pack them in at this campground but the location, cleanliness, and quietness cannot be beat. The Verizon air card and satellite worked well. The grounds are slightly leveled. The GPS doesn't pick up the address so use the Ravine waterpark on the corner as a landmark. There is propane on site. They even had a wine tasting at the office when we checked in. Nice touch. Hearst Castle is under an hour away. Restaurants to explore Villa Creek, Artisan for Sunday brunch, and Bistro Laurent. We will stay here again.

They have propane on site. They have pull through sites, cable and leveling was fairly acceptable. Our Verizon air card worked well. It is a well lit area. There is nothing much around the area.

This campground is only a seven. What was a ten was the fact that they had breakfast and dinner and the laundry area was respectively clean and only $1.00 for washing machines $ .50 for dryers. Cable, satellite, and Verizon air card all worked well. What made the campground a 7 were the sites - they were extremely close, not very leveled, noise from planes at all late hours of the night and highway noise.

The owners Lane & Cindy make you feel right at home. They run a very nice CG. There is propane on site and a lovely play area for kids. They serve breakfast and dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. They even deliver it to your rig. Its quiet at night. The sites are fairly leveled. The air card and satellite worked well. Decent cable. I don't think there was much to do in the area but we were there for rest so it suited our needs perfectly. We would stay here again.

What a great campground. The front office very friendly and accommodating. The premium sites are level perfectly and spacious. Its off the main road so you don't hear that much noise but close enough to everything you can need. Cable was very good and the air card worked perfectly. Yes, you do hear a little airplane traffic but nothing to complain about. Quiet at night and well lit. We will camp here again. Sekisui, a Japanese restaurant was excellent and affordable.

This is a perfect overnight stay. Easy off. Easy On. Sites not really level but doable. There was a gasoline station on site but not sure it really worked. The air card/satellite did NOT work. It was however quiet. They did have breakfast and dinner service which we thought was good. The trees in a couple of years, could be a problem for big rigs.

I had a hard time writing a review for this location. The only thing going for this campground is the location. It's centrally locally to San Fran and Napa Sonoma not to mention a Trader Joe's, Safeway, and Costco. The cable works well and so does a verizon air card. Although its close to 101 you hardly hear any noise. Those are the high points. As far as the campground goes, first the sites are EXTREMELY close, second, the sites are not level. We actually saw two motorhomes with their front wheels dangling in the air, scary! There is a deli on the grounds which can help out in a pinch. This is a no frills campground. The way I see it, the reason the sites are so close is because they choose to be a trailer park as well. The verdict is still out whether we would stay here again or not.

Great place for a pit stop. Quiet at night. Easily accessible. Verizon card and satellite worked well. Sites decently leveled. Pull through was long enough that we didn't have to unhook our tow vehicle. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a relatively new cg but its on its way to becoming a great cg. The grounds are clean, level and on the property they have a great restaurant and a decent work out area. There isn't a lot of shade but it will eventually grow in. Satellite and the verizon air card worked well. The pull thru's are large enough if you don't want to unhook for the night. If we find ourselves in this area again, we would camp here again.

Go for the sites by the river the views are exceptional... The cable on the property is one of the best we've had to date. The satellite and Verizon air card work well. The sites are pretty level and they have a very cool feature the hook ups are on both side of the rig. There is no shade. The bathrooms have a spa feel. The laundry room is clean. At night, they close the gates and you need an entry code. There is a supermarket, video store, drug store and restaurants within a 5 minute car ride. Bring your boat/kayak definitely a lot of water to explore. We would camp here again!!!

What an incredible campground!!! First the views, second the location, third the staff, fourth convenience - This is what other cg should model themselves after. The cable works great. We have an aircard so we didn't need wifi but I heard its 5.00 a day a little steep if you ask me. The laundry room was quite nice and they kept it respectively clean. The gym did its job. There are two restaurants within walking distance and they are good especially when you don't want to cook. The sites are leveled and border line to close but with the bushes in between you feel a little privacy. We originally booked for a month and extended it for another week... At the office there is a free book called 101 things to do in San Diego, definitely worth a look if you are not sure how to spend your time in this lovely area...definitely bring your bike you will want to ride. Restaurants to visit Prado in Balboa Park, Arrivederci in Hillcrest, Buon Appetito in Little Italy. We will definitely stay here again!

OK campground. Nothing to right home about. The air card worked OK. The sites were slightly leveled. Pull throughs are short! There is nothing going on at town. Mesa an Italian restaurant was tasteful. The one thing that we did enjoy at this campground was the weekend breakfasts.

We had a very nice stay. Be warn though IT IS HOT. Furthermore, your GPS won't work properly so call for directions. A nice campground. Carla, the owner is very sweet. We loved our site it was completely private, bushes on both sides. It definitely did not feel like a KOA. There is not much going on in the campground but definitely in a great location for visiting the Mojave desert, Havasu Lake, Las Vegas, the Alamos. The sites are not really level but the air card worked perfectly however there was NO CELL phone Reception. Even with all the shade the satellite worked great. We would stay here again, just not in the summer, it is to hot.

What an amazing stay. We were here seven days due to some problems with our tow vehicle and before long we felt we were "Home". The owners are wonderful. They make their campground a place you want to visit over and over. Don't miss breakfast on the weekends and definitely order the local pizza. Delicious! We are originally from NY and it definitely got our approval. As far as sight seeing, don't miss the caverns. If you are interested in seeing the bats go later in the afternoon like around 4:00PM so you can do both. Sitting Bull Falls was very spiritual and the Living Desert was OK although the Apache ceremonies was a winner all the way. The campground is quiet at night - the laundry facilities were the only thing lacking. The dryers need help; they don't dry as quickly as they should. There are a lot of little bunnies running all over the place. We will definitely recommend this campground to everyone. Above all we will be back!!!

This is NO RESORT campground It is however a perfect stop in Santa Fe. One hour away from Albuquerque and 20 minutes from the local sites. The laundry area is acceptable though the most expensive I've used to date. $ 2.00 for the washing machines, the general store is okay. The sites are SMALL!!! We had a corner lot and thank goodness it just had enough room for our rig. NO concrete pad, no picnic table, no nothing well a nice view of mountains. Our aircard worked great.

From making the reservations to the arrival very professional and friendly. We were here as a stop over and it was perfect. Excellent pull thru a little unlevel but doable. At night a bit dark. Would definitely stay here again.

Where do we begin. Twenty minutes into our arrival the lights went. It's approximately 330PM and 97 degrees and there is no electricity in the campground. This happened twice in a three hour span. The ground was so unlevel that it had our rig leaning towards the left and I thought it was going to tip over. We were so concerned we retracted them and never even opened our slide outs. The aircard worked very poorly. The only positive of this no frills Campground is the Restaurant. The chicken fried steak and the spare ribs special with the mash potatoes and lemon cake deserve a nine. Its questionable whether or not we would stay here again or not.

The only real complaint we had was that the aircard worked sporadically. This is the first RV campground that called itself a "resort" that is worthy of such an honor. The grocery store was fully stocked, even the wines they sold were quality. They are a full service resort. They will deliver practically anything to your site except for diesel or food. Even disposing of the garbage is done curb side at your site. It doesn't get any better than that. Even the laundry room was a delight. There are four washer/dryers in a very comfortable room with a table, chair and lots of magazines to pass time. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

This was an excellent stay. Everything on the campground was vintage. It really kept the motif of Route 66 alive. The location was excellent to downtown Williams, the Grand Canyon train and the reservoirs that near by. The campground is quiet. The general store is more of a retail store for Route 66. The sites are somewhat level. Our air card worked very good. Cable was OK. First campground we have stayed at that recycles. We highly recommend dinner at Red Raven. If you are going to dine there after 7 PM make reservations. If you have kids catch the "shoot out" that occurs every night from May - Labor day in downtown Williams. Ask a local every night is in a different location. We would stay here again.

South Monticello Campground Very nice park stay although if you are not into water sports you might find yourself a little bored. Bring your boat, kayak, wave runner and fishing rod. We were in a site right by the bluff overlooking the Rio Grande. The nearest town is Truth or Consequences. (5 miles) There you can find a Walmart, do some hot springs (Riverbend), and dinner at Los Arcos. The early bird dinner is worth the money. The nights at the campground are quiet. We used our aircard and it worked sporadically. As a state park, they only offered electricity and water. The dumping station was by the exit and it was easy access. The pullthru's are not by the lake. PS: Be prepared for strong winds. The winds were so strong one night we had to close all our slideouts we were concerned that our awnings would be ripped right off. We would stay here again.

Right off Interstate 10 behind a Super 8 look carefully or you'll miss it. Call for exact address or your GPS will get you lost... This place rocks! Very friendly, clean, without any shade to interrupt your satellite. Definitely visit Avery Island and on your way back to the campground have a late lunch or dinner at Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge must try the lump crab cakes and the crawfish half fried, half etouffee DELICIOUS!!! This is a local place and definitely a must... We are younger than most RVers and we are just starting a six month cross country trip and the "laundry situation" was my most challenging. I was glad I waited until I arrived here to Frog City to do my laundry because it passed with flying colors. Although small, only three washing/drying machines, the room and machines were clean. All I know is that we will definitely recommend this campground to anyone in the area, and if on our way back we find ourselves in Duson, LA we will definitely camp here again.

They don't open on weekends, but we took a chance anyway, and the security guard checked us in at our site. There is NO shade in this campground but they are spacious enough for the rig and tow vehicle, decent level. Our aircard worked perfectly and so did our cell phones. The town of Yuma is about a 10 minute ride from cg. We highly recommend Chretin's Mexican Restaurant. Maneuvering on the way out was a bit tight with a big rig. They recycle. If our travels brought us back to Yuma, we would stay here again.

We were at Camp World and asked if they could recommend where to stay. They suggested Tropical Palms about a 1 1/2 mile up on US 192. It was a nice surprise! We were in site 409 which had electric and water but no dumping. Before I forget, it was 46 because we were AAA members and Floridian residents. This particular campground is very family oriented and very diversified in the age groups. The trees are a bit low which can make it challenging for the big rigs but it is level with a picnic table. The bathrooms were clean as well as the showers. We would stay here again. We camped here in a motorhome. PS: If you don't want to pay Walt Disney prices this campground is not far from major attractions!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we found ourselves in this campground again and even though our first visit was less than desirable we are so happy we gave it a second chance. The front office was kind, polite, and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We actually have stayed here two more times since our first review and we would rate them a ten. If you are in the area, this is the campground to stay at.

Very nice cg. Charlie was very helpful and friendly. We had site 21 and it was perfect for our 40' motorhome & for our one night stay. However, I think at the end of the park it may be a little tighter for big rigs. The park is located in a very quiet residential area right off I-10. As far as is it being leveled, the sites are long enough to find what's best for your needs. We would definitely camp here again.

The only positive that I can comment on this campground is the beautiful Oak trees on the property. This should be your last resort for a one night stay if not keep going. You need codes to get to the bathroom and yet they were still not clean. We had just picked up our new motorhome and were having some difficulties honking down for the night it was 9:30 PM well the other campers came out to ask all sorts of questions? Did we hit lotto? Is our engine a Cummins/turbo? Not helping but rather adding to what was already a stressful situation. The icing on the cake was the camper next to our site B8 a woman who came out and asked us "How much longer will we be?" We explained we were having some difficulties and she could careless she raised her voice louder and spoke firmly "How Much Longer Will You Be???" Needless to say, we got out of there in the AM as fast as we could and closed the door to that chapter...we would stay in a rest area on the side of the road before going back to this campground.

What an incredible park. It's close to both the Beau Rivage & Hard Rock. casinos. The park is immaculate as well as the bathrooms and showers! The sites are decent with full hook ups (site 56). We stayed only for a night but we will be back to enjoy the campground as well as the local sights.

Even though we didn't have horses they were kind enough to offer us a horse site in order to accommodate our 40' motorhome. The bathrooms/showers were clean. We loved it here. The sites are spacious but with no shade. There is 50 AMP hook ups and water but no sewer. The charge for the sewer dumping is $5.00. We had my parents with me so they charged us for the night senior discounts. Its beautiful and quiet here a must if you are in the area and enjoy nature!!!

If you transport horses, this is the campground for you. Its a no frills CG but makes up with natural beauty. 100 acres of farm land with (horse) trails leading to a state park plus horse corrals and a barn to exercise your horses. There are no restrooms/showers or pools but the quietness, the relaxation and natural beauty that surrounds you well makes up for it. Bring plenty of food/necessities since its a trip into town. At night you can unwind by a campfire! Roberta the owner is an amazing woman whom immediately will become family. The sites are just right, no shade, but you will feel comfortable and secure.

The park management went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. We had a waterfront pull in that looked out to a large ship not necessarily beautiful but it was definitely waterfront. We stayed here in a travel trailer and we did so because they had shuttle to the French Quarter (Mardi Gras) it was a very nice plus. Didn't understand why after midnight they would shut down the park lights making it difficult to see!?? It was gated but it needed to be it was in an industrial area away from anything in a scary part of town. We would probably stay here again but only for Mardi Gras. The showers/bathrooms were clean well maintained. Didn't use the laundry but saw a few campers utilizing the facility.

It was our first time backing into a site and because the sites are a bit to close it was a bit challenging but fellow RVers came out to help. We arrived at night so we really couldn't appreciate what morning brought us (besides the jets taking off as early as 715AM and rattling our trailer) waking up to the bay was breathtaking!!! We looked forward to sunrise the seven days we stayed here. We had no complaints. There was a "welcome campers" meal which made it easy to meet fellow rvers and movie night was a nice touch. The staff was helpful. The campgrounds are clean. Sites 121, 122, 123, 124 are all on the water, near the dumpster and the restroom/showers. Best deal is by months!!! PS: For 23.00 one way you can take a cab to Duval and not worry about driving and drinking.

This is an excellent site. Centrally located to St Augustine. We had a deluxe site and it was worth every penny. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our reservation was originally for four nights but we loved it so much that we added a fifth night.

We had my parents with me (60+) so it was only 10 a night with electricity and water. You had to go to a dumping site. It was infested with mosquitoes. They were everywhere. However, before they attacked starring at the stars was beautiful.
